Embarcadero de Legazpi

Embarcadero de Legazpi wants to renew the good old days of Legazpi City Port and it’s neighboring areas. It was once a docking area by the Spanish trading galleons, similar to the Galleon Andalucia, for economic activities. Today, it is opening doors for new investments, bringing in stores and brands that never found its way to this small coastal city.

The Embarcadero de Legazpi is the only mall that is open even until past midnight. It is the main establishment that rejuvenates the city’s nightlife. On top of its signature shimmering lighthouse is a beaming searchlight and the colorful lights all over the mall are reflecting on the nearby seawaters. Nocturnal partygoers are drawn to this new-found haven where serene nature meets stylish urban living.

Embarcadero de Legazpi is not only a mall which houses restaurants and stores, it’s also a place to experience water sports and adventures. Visitors can enjoy parasailing, jet ski, paddle boat, water jeep, and even helicopter rides for a panoramic view of Mayon Volcano and the cityscape.

Recently, Embardero de Legazpi has added new exciting activities such as rappelling and zip-lining adventures.

It also serves as a jump-off point to Misibis Bay Raintree, a luxury resort hotel in Cagraray Island, located nearby. The mall owners has innovated eco-friendly transportation in the Bicol Region by introducing the E-Jeeps (Electronic Jeepneys). E-Jeeps roam around the city and carry visitors to and from Embarcadero free of charge.

Embardero de Legazpi is a kilometer away from the other tourist attractions in the city center of Legazpi such as the Battle of Legazpi Monument, Headless Monument, Plaza Rizal and the historic St. Raphael Church.

How to get there

From Legazpi Airport, take a tricycle (P20) or taxi (P80) going directly to Embarcadero. From the Old Albay District, near Peñaranda Park and St. Gregory Cathedral, take a jeepney with Legazpi or Legazpi City route going directly to boulevard entrance.
