Enchanted Kingdom is one of the several themed parks found in the Philippines. Comparable to Gloria’s Fantasyland in Dapitan and Star City in Pasay, this park boasts as the best theme and adventure park in the country. Over the years, locals continue to patronize it because of its good maintenance on all of its rides to avoid any untoward incidents.

Enchanted Kingdom at Night

Enchanted Kingdom at Night

Located in Santa Rosa City, Laguna, one can see Mt. Makiling from Enchanted Kingdom. Although it is not very visible from the ground, riding their Ferris wheel, known as the Wheel of Fate, will surely give you a great panoramic view of the city as well as the towering mystical mountain. Enchanted Kingdom is housed inside a 17 hectare land owned, operated and managed by Enchanted Kingdom, Inc. which is formerly known as Amtrust Leisure Corporation. The Park joined the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) to maintain their world-class, high-quality reputation from all over the globe. Enchanted Kingdom is also a member of the Philippine Convention and Visitors Corporation (PCVC), Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA), Philippine Tour Operators Association (PHILTOA) and it is accredited and endorsed by the Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Department of Education, Culture and Sports (DECS).

Modeled after the Knott’s Berry Farm and conceptualized by the Landmark Entertainment Group, Enchanted Kingdom cost an estimated P1.2 billion and was first opened in July 28, 1995. It gathered hundreds of thousands of visitors per month albeit the price was too expensive for the middle-class Filipinos.

The Enchanted Kingdom Day Pass is a ride-all-you can pass that allows you to experience “most” of the rides inside the park. The park will provide an orange-colored wrist-tag to show that you bought the the day pass. I mentioned “most” because not all of the rides can be availed with the Day Pass, there are rides that you need to pay an additional amount just to experience it. 4D Discovery Theatre (+P60), Zorb Water Ball (+P50), ATV Ride (+P50 to +P250), Go-Kart (+100), among a few others are known as “Extra Charge Attractions”.

The other notable ride is Anchor’s Away. It is a galleon-designed ship that moves like a pendulum at a very fast speed, which makes your stomach muscles contract to its highest level. This ride may be able to give you a six-pack stomach if you ride this everyday.

How to get there

PAL and Cebu Pacific serves flights to Manila from most of the airports in the country and outside the country on a daily basis. Getting to Manila by boat from the Visayas or Mindanao region may be aching and takes more than a day of travel.

From Manila, take a taxi going to Intercon Open Parking in Ayala Center. This is beside SM Makati, across Ayala MRT Station and Edsa Car Park. K3R is the official Shuttle Service Provider of Enchanted Kingdom, asking for directions from the guard at Ayala Center may be a good option. For rates and schedules, you may contact K3R at telephone number (+63)(2)811-4839 to 43 or cellular phone number (+63)917-8984839. Enchanted Kingdom is located about 30 kilometers from within the Metro Manila area such as Manila, Makati and Pasay. It is a short 1 hour (2 hours if traffic is heavy) ride going to Sta. Rosa, Laguna that is well worth the fun and adventure that you’ll experience in such wonderful place. Visit Enchanted Kingdom now and you’ll surely have another day in your life that you will never forget.

  21. tata says:

kuya, when is the best time to go to EK? yung hindi masyado mainit? thanks..

    • Hi Tata,

I suggest you start enjoying the rides at around 4pm (medyo mainit pa) or 4:30pm (ok na). The huge crowd starts to flock at around 5:00pm and the peak time is 5:30pm-6:00pm. During the peak hours, the lines becomes so long that you will be wasting a lot of your time standing than enjoying the rides.

what rides can a 3 weeks pregnant woman can ride?

can you bring an 8 month old baby on EK?

    can anyone please answer this?

(i was planning to invite my friends here for my birthday since mall is so boring and im not allowed to party at night on BigFish Manila/ Embassy/ Ascend/ other night clubs that’s why i plan to have my birthday here. But one of my friends is pregnant and on of my friends don’t know if she could bring her baby on a ride.)

    • Hi Anonymous M.G.,

      1. A 3-week pregnant woman can only ride the carousel. For the other rides – such as the ferris wheel, swan boat, etc as long as it’s not extreme – it’s at her own risk and discretion.
      2. Yes, you can bring an 8-month old baby inside EK.

      Regards,

      Mark M.

May I ask kung affordable po ba meals sa loob? How about in Rialto, how much is the fee? Thanks in advance.

    • Mark Maranga says:

      Abby,

I think the food inside are affordable. It is comparable to value meals found in malls. Value meals are priced at P70-P150.

The Rialto entrance is free. It is included in the ride-all-you-can package.

  43. ynah says:

tanong ko lang po kung naaalala mo pa yung mga prices ng souvenirs?? 🙂 thanks

    • Mark Maranga says:

      Ynah,

It depends on the kind. There are souvenirs that are less than P30 such as keychains, bracelets. There are above P100 such as mugs. Shirts are around P300. Eldar the wizard items are about P300-P800. There are a lot of items to choose from such as umbrellas, cups, necklaces and most of the prices are slightly similar to those found in malls. The only difference is that most of the souvenir items in Enchanted Kingdom have the logo or label printed on it.
