Heroes Park, Ozamiz, Philippines

The Heroes Park, which also serves as a Heroes Memorial Tomb, is a dedication by the members of the Mindanao Sulu Veterans, Inc and the Women Auxiliary Service of the Philippines to those who died in defending the Philippines against foreign forces and pirates either in battle, in prison, in siege, by sickness, by exhaustion or by torture. The people who made the Heroes Park mourn over the death, admire the courage, praised the fortitude and cherished the virtues to those who passed the test of patriotism. By giving up their lives to this republic, they became the symbol of integrity as a people and a dream was realized and a hope was fulfilled.

The Heroes Park is one of the many historical places found in Ozamiz, Philippines. It is located 2 minutes away from the People’s Park, 5 minutes away from Virgin of Cotta & Fort Santiago and 8 minutes away from the Port of Ozamiz.
