Mimar’s Springway Resort, Iligan

One of the most visited Spring Pools in Timoga, Buru-un, Iligan City, Philippines is Mimar’s Springway Resort. This Swimming Pool has icy-cool and crystal clear waters which came from the natural spring that flow from the mountains of Iligan.

Mimar’s Springway Resort is located 1 kilometer away from the entrance of Maria Cristina Falls and has unlimited spring water that flows through it even during “el nino” season. It has a spacious parking area that can accommodate several automobiles and motorcycles. A sari-sari store is available near the entrance gate which sells snacks and softdrinks.

Mimar’s Springway Resort is easily accessible by land as it is found in the National Highway. Entrance fee is P50 per person and there’s no special price for kids unlike other pools found in the Philippines. Small tables that can accommodate up to 6 person can be rented at P75. Big tables which accommodates 12-16 people can be rented at P150. There are a couple of clean Swimming Pools, one is for kids, the other one is for adults. The big pool has 5 lanes with 5 diving boards which is sometimes used during inter-school competitions just like the Maze Park Swimming Pool.  An undeveloped swimming pool is also available but less people stays there because the water come directly from the mountains without passing a filter and it is super cool.
