The Fluvial Parade of St. John the Baptist in Siquijor

The St. John the Baptist Fluvial Parade is celebrated every 24th of June in celebration of the 2nd devotion fiesta of Barangay Gabayan.

It is an activity for the residents to showcase the ability, strength and endurance in boat racing sports, parlor games and the colorful fluvial parade.

Because the Philippines is more of a Roman Catholic country by Spanish influence, many provinces here are doing the fluvial parade as part of their yearly devotion to the Gods.
