The Fish Spa uses Doctor Fishes which are also known as Nibble Fishes, Kangal Fishes, and Doctorfishen. The fish species are found in the river basins of China, Turkey and the Middle East. Back in the 1917, an unknown shepherd dipped his wounded leg into the water with these little fishes measuring a little less than 4 inches or 9.7 cm long. It nibbled off the dead skin from the wound and miraculously his wound was healed.
